Winnebago Industries Inc. has released an inaugural corporate responsibility report that outlines the company’s progress in defining and achieving its environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals across the Winnebago, Grand Design RV, Chris-Craft and Newmar brands. Among the highlights of the report, the Forest City-based manufacturer has established a cross-functional Corporate Responsibility Advisory Team to prioritize, govern and advance its ESG goals. In 2020 and beyond, the company “will build on promising practices to minimize waste and explore advanced product technologies.” Its Grand Design RV subsidiary already has a recycling program that has diverted more than 4,000 tons of recyclables from landfills in seven years.
