Charlie Wittmack has joined the Hartung Schroeder law firm as part of a strategy to further develop the firm’s portfolio of regional and national clients, according to a release. Wittmack spent the past six years working in private practice as an attorney and business strategist in Charlotte, N.C., while serving clients from California to New York and in four international locations. Wittmack previously practiced as a litigation attorney with the Davis Brown Law Firm in Des Moines. Hartung Schroeder is a boutique law firm located in downtown Des Moines. In recent years, the firm has racked up more than $100 million in verdicts and settlements for its clients, including a $40 million class action award for Des Moines’ residents in Kragnes v. City of Des Moines. The firm was founded by J.D. Hartung and Brad Schroeder.
