Two local business leaders will headline the Des Moines Pastoral Counseling Center’s 22nd annual Women Helping Women luncheon on May 15 in Des Moines. Mary Riche, a retired therapist and marketing professional, will be honored for leadership in many sectors including mental health, women’s issues and civic engagement. Jackie Servellon, a local business owner and human services provider, will deliver the keynote address on her personal story of hope and healing as a survivor of domestic violence. The luncheon will be held at the Embassy Suites in downtown Des Moines. The counseling center expects to host 600 guests and raise more than $200,000. Since 1998 the event has raised more than $1.2 million. Read more about the event here.
