Woodley was most recently the state director for Best Buddies International in Iowa. Before that role, she taught special education at Drake University, where she also worked in University Advancement and earned her doctoral degree. She has additional fundraising experience with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Iowa. Woodley has also experienced the mission of Make-A-Wish Iowa firsthand. Her daughter, Molly, recently received a wish to go to Walt Disney World Resort. “On behalf of the board of directors, we are excited to have Jennifer Woodley onboard,” said Josh Norton, Make-A-Wish Iowa board chair. “As a wish mom and proven fundraiser, we look forward to how she will advance the mission and enable the chapter to continue to grant wishes to children facing critical illnesses.” Woodley fills the vacancy left by Chris Voggesser, who left the nonprofit in May after five years to support his family business.
