The Iowa Association of Workforce Boards will host its annual training for the state’s nine Local Workforce Development Boards on Thursday. The conference is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Iowa Valley Continuing Education Conference Center in DeJardin Hall at Marshalltown Community College. The conference will bring together county supervisors, chamber leaders, economic development officials, educators and workforce professionals to discuss the issues facing Iowa’s workforce and to find solutions. Attendees will also have the opportunity to collaborate and participate in interactive training that covers a variety of workforce topics. Registration for the event has closed.
