Research firm Quantum Workplace took data on about 1,500 leaders. On a 4-point scale, the average men’s leadership score was 2.81 and the women’s average was 2.80. 

The study also found that women are better at firing people in a more timely manner and scored higher at monitoring team progress. 

Only 40 percent of women surveyed were likely to voluntarily seek feedback, as opposed to 60 percent of men.

The study found that men were more likely to be constantly considering how various scenarios will affect their businesses in the future and were more knowledgeable about their industry and competitors. 

Beyond that, men and women share many of the same strengths and weaknesses, the study said.
