World Food Prize Hall now open
The recently restored World Food Prize Hall of Laureates is now open to the public on Saturdays and Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The hall has been closed for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification testing and the visit of China’s vice president since its grand opening in October.
The building, which celebrates the life of Norman Borlaug, is on the National Register of Historic Places and underwent a $30 million restoration. Admission to tour the building is free and guided tours are held on Tuesdays.
