WorldWide Logistics to host ribbon-cutting ceremony for new headquarters

A ribbon-cutting ceremony for WorldWide Logistics’ newly constructed headquarters in Urbandale will be held July 27 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. The company’s new headquarters is 76,000-square-foot, two-story building with office space for corporate and customer service center teams previously located in three separate buildings in Urbandale. Located at 12400 Meredith Drive, the building features a modern environment for employees and includes a cafe, numerous collaborative areas, markets, a large outdoor patio seating area and a quarter-mile lit walking path around a pond. It is located on 22 acres near Interstate 80/35. Dessert and light refreshments will be served, with the ribbon-cutting beginning at 4:15 p.m. Attendees will include Gov. Kim Reynolds, Urbandale Mayor Bob Andeweg, Tim Annett, president and CEO of WorldWide Logistics, and Jeff Smith, vice president of construction at the Opus Group.
