Wright Tree Service, a West Des Moines-based vegetation management company serving utility companies, announced the acquisition of ArborCare Tree Service, a Canadian tree service based in Calgary, Alberta. Under the acquisition, effective May 24, the utility side of ArborCare will do business under the Wright Tree Service brand and will continue to provide vegetation management services throughout Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. Founded in 1933, Wright Tree Service has nearly 4,000 employees and provides integrated vegetation management, storm restoration and work planning services to utility companies and their communities across the United States.
