The Young Women’s Resource Center (YWRC) raised more than $100,000 at its 13th annual Sit On It! fund raising event. More than 500 attendees bid on 66 silent auction pieces and 15 live auction packages.

Additionally, Susan Knapp was honored as the 2012 Louise Noun Visionary Woman, while Melisah Moore, Magali Rosario, Cassie Mills and Becky Sanders were recognized as Women of Worth for their outstanding leadership and involvement in YWRC programming.

The proceeds from Sit On It! provide programming for local young women throughout the year.
