YPC to host entrepreneur events   

The Young Professionals Connection (YPC) will host a pair of entrepreneur events next week. An event on Tuesday will focus on resources available to entrepreneurs and start-ups in the area. That event will take place from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Drake University’s Olmsted Center, 2875 University Ave. Registration is free for YPC members and $5 for non-members. An lunch and learn next Thursday will provide a condensed version of the SCORE Simple Steps Series. That event will take place from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Greater Des Moines Partnership building, 700 Locust St. That event is $10 for members and $15 for nonmembers; to register for either or both events go to www.ypcdsm.com.
