The Young Professionals Connection (YPC) will host “Lunch with Leaders,” an event at which young professionals can connect with more seasoned community and business leaders in Greater Des Moines. Scheduled to take place from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m., the event at 700 Locust St. downtown costs $10 for YPC members and $15 for nonmembers. Shannon Cofield of United Way of Central Iowa, Jana Rieker of Bankers Trust Co., Jim Wallace of GuideOne Insurance and Connie Wimer of Business Publications Corp.
