Jonathan Brendemuehl

Des Moines Performing Arts has hired Jonathan Brendemuehl as communications manager and Carina Woodward as marketing manager. Brendemuehl, a 2013 Forty Under 40 honoree, joines DMPA from Bankers Trust Co., where he served as corporate communications manager. He replaces Cindy Hughes Anliker, a 2014 Forty Under 40 honoree, who is taking a new role with AmeriHealth Caritas Iowa as a communications consultant. Brendemuehl will lead institutional communications as well as event publicity. Woodward, the former director of tourism for the Okoboji Tourism Committee, will manage logistics related to show promotions, media and partnerships.
