About me:

I joined the Business Record part-time in 2014 and accepted a full-time position as the newsroom operations manager in 2015. In my role I’ll help elevate the quality, value, reputation and reach of the Business Record’s existing and future products by producing the daily e-newsletters, calendars, public notices, On the Moves and an array of other projects and tasks.

I grew up in Oshkosh, Wis. – and yes, that is where OshKosh B’gosh was founded. Having grown up in Wisconsin usually guarantees that you enjoy three things: the Green Bay Packers, bratwursts and cheese curds. All three on a Sunday are a marvelous thing for this Packers shareholder. When I was younger, you could always find me at my father’s auto repair shop. That background fuels a passion for continuing to tinker on my 1968 Chevelle. I should note that I have even been known to turn some wrenches at the office, when needed.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh with a degree in economics and later attended Des Moines University where I attained a masters in health care administration. Prior to joining the Business Record I managed pharmacies in Wisconsin and provided training to hospital pharmacies around the United States.

I have called Des Moines home since 2012. I live in the Ingersoll Park area with my wife, Mackenzie and our dog, Walter.
