Meredith Corp. today said it plans to sell Time Inc. UK to private equity firm Epiris Fund II.

Meredith Corp. today said it plans to sell Time Inc. UK to private equity firm Epiris Fund II. Time Inc. UK was acquired by Meredith Corp. on Jan. 31 as part of the Des Moines-based media company’s broader acquisition of Time Inc. Time Inc. UK owns more than 50 brands in the United Kingdom, including Country Life and Women’s Weekly. The deal is expected to close by the end of March. Terms were not disclosed.
