Rather than a cost-savings measure, a Wells Fargo spokesman said the “museums do not align with our go-forward strategy as a company.” Located at 801 Walnut St., the Des Moines museum features a Wells Fargo stagecoach, a rotating art gallery and exhibits about the bank’s history in Iowa.
